Total Battle Epic Stack Calculator

Your best army. Maximum damage. Epic Calc uses your actual bonuses to optimize Stack order, troop counts and Guardsmen, Specialist and Monster tiers for maximum expected damage against Epic Monsters.

Step 1

Bonuses

Strength against Epic Monsters (%)

In a completed battle report, tap your unit and scroll to Bonuses. Copy “Strength of your entire army against epic monsters” here, without + or %. Keep this separate from the ordinary Strength bonus.

Find Strength and Health in Unit details in a battle report. For field help, click ? or press F1 while focused on a field.

Equal melee / ranged / mounted / flying bonuses

Keep checked only if both Strength and Health bonuses match across combat classes, after allowing for Monster-family research on beasts such as Griffins. Compare ordinary melee, ranged and mounted Guardsmen in the same battle report, and check a flying representative too. If either value differs, uncheck and fill every extra row shown. For example: melee Health 1287.5 and ranged Health 1338 means uncheck.

Equal G / S / M bonuses

Keep checked only if Guardsmen, Specialists and Monsters share the same underlying Strength and Health bonuses. Monster-family research is handled separately: with full research, Monsters can show 100 percentage points more than ordinary Guardsmen and still satisfy this option. If category bonuses differ, uncheck and enter S Melee and the Monster row shown when Monsters are enabled. If unsure, uncheck both Equal options and use measured values.

Full Monster research

Keep checked only when Strength and Health research for beasts, dragons, elementals and giants is complete (+100 percentage points each). This does not include flying-class research. If incomplete or unknown, uncheck and copy the Monster or beast rows that appear. Do not subtract research yourself. The calculator assumes equal research across these families.

G Melee
G Melee Strength

In a completed battle report, tap a unit matching G Melee and scroll to Bonuses. Copy the plain Strength percentage, not Stats or the player-vs-player bonus. Enter without + or %, using a decimal point. Do not add 100 or subtract research.

G Melee Health

In a completed battle report, tap a unit matching G Melee and scroll to Bonuses. Copy the plain Health percentage, not Stats or the player-vs-player bonus. Enter without + or %, using a decimal point. Do not add 100 or subtract research.

Epic Monster Hunter
Epic Monster Hunter Strength

In a completed battle report, tap a unit matching Epic Monster Hunter and scroll to Bonuses. Copy the plain Strength percentage, not Stats or the player-vs-player bonus. Enter without + or %, using a decimal point. Do not add 100 or subtract research. Optional: blank or zero uses an estimate from G Melee (65% Strength, 50% Health).

Epic Monster Hunter Health

In a completed battle report, tap a unit matching Epic Monster Hunter and scroll to Bonuses. Copy the plain Health percentage, not Stats or the player-vs-player bonus. Enter without + or %, using a decimal point. Do not add 100 or subtract research. Optional: blank or zero uses an estimate from G Melee (65% Strength, 50% Health).

EMH is optional. Blank or zero values are estimated at 65% of G Melee Strength and 50% of G Melee Health; mercenary limits may be inaccurate.

Step 2

Army

Include Leadership

Keep checked to include Guardsmen, Specialists & Catapults in the calculation and enter the capacity below. Uncheck to exclude this category.

Guardsmen, Specialists & Catapults
Leadership

Capacity shared by Guardsmen and Specialists. In Start march with your intended captains selected, copy the maximum after the slash next to the helmet. For example, 276861 / 304283 means enter 304283.

Latest Guardsmen tier

Choose the highest G tier you have unlocked, not the tier you want to send. Recommended tiers handles selection. For partially unlocked G/S tiers, use “Some latest G/S Units are locked” and uncheck units you cannot use.

G
Latest Specialist tier

Choose the highest S tier you have unlocked, not the tier you want to send. Recommended tiers handles selection. For partially unlocked G/S tiers, use “Some latest G/S Units are locked” and uncheck units you cannot use.

S
Add Catapult stacks to take the first enemy hits. They use part of your Leadership.
Recommended G/S tiers

Leave checked to let Epic Calc choose Guardsmen and Specialist tiers. Uncheck only to choose tiers yourself; tick the G and S tiers you want included. Your highest unlocked tiers still limit the choices.

Epic Calc chooses which complete Guardsmen and Specialist tiers to use.
Include Dominance

Keep checked to include Monsters in the calculation and enter the capacity below. Uncheck to exclude this category.

Monsters
Dominance

Capacity for your Monsters. In Start march, copy the maximum after the slash next to the lion. For example, 65021 / 66792 means enter 66792.

Latest Monster tier

Choose the highest M tier you have unlocked, not the tier you want to send. Recommended tiers handles selection. For partially unlocked G/S tiers, use “Some latest G/S Units are locked” and uncheck units you cannot use.

M
Recommended Monster tiers

Leave checked to let Epic Calc choose Monster tiers. Uncheck to select the M tiers yourself. Only tiers up to your highest unlocked Monster tier can be selected.

Epic Calc chooses complete Monster tiers independently from G/S.
Round Monster counts to tens

Optional: check to calculate Monster counts in multiples of 10. Leave unchecked to allow individual counts and a less restricted calculation.

Optional. The restriction is applied inside the optimization.
Include Authority

Keep checked to include Mercenaries in the calculation and enter the capacity below. Uncheck to exclude this category.

Mercenaries
Authority

Capacity for Mercenaries. In Start march, copy the maximum after the slash next to the eagle. For example, 2518 / 133963 means enter 133963. The calculator gives a safe maximum for each Mercenary type.

Latest G9 automatically selects the TII Mercenary pool.

Round Mercenary counts to tens

Optional: check to calculate each Mercenary maximum in multiples of 10. Leave unchecked to allow individual counts.

Optional. Applied while calculating every individual safe maximum.

Your bonuses set the order. Not a fixed template.

Epic Calc is a free Total Battle army stack calculator built to find your best army composition. Enter your unlocked tiers, battle-report bonuses, Leadership, Dominance and Authority. It optimizes both your troop and Monster tier combinations, alongside Stack order and unit counts, to maximize expected damage for your inputs.

Guardsmen and Specialist tiers are not forced into a fixed sequence such as S8 → G8 → S9 → G9. Stacks from different tiers can be interleaved according to your actual bonuses and their contribution to damage.

What is army stacking?

Stacking means dividing your army into groups of units rather than sending only one troop type. The size and bonuses of each group affect its total health, attack order and expected damage. Epic Calc compares troop combinations and recommends unit counts for your inputs.

Which battles does Epic Calc support?

This calculator is designed for attacks against Epic Monsters, not PvP or Citadel battles. Results are estimates based on the supplied bonuses and the calculator’s combat model, not a guarantee of an identical battle report.
